Very premature and sick babies require the highest level of care. This care can be only provided by specialised hospital units called Neonatal Intensive Care Units (NICUs).

Australia is home to 22 wonderful NICUs which combines advanced life supporting equipment with trained healthcare professionals. It is an intensive care unit designed to meet the unique needs of premature and sick newborns and each strives to provide the very best of care for Australia’s miracle babies.
