The New Born Care Centre (NBC) is situated on Level 1 of the hospital and has 44 cots. It is classified as a Level 6 facility, treating babies requiring the highest level of Intensive Care and babies needing surgery due to its co-location with Sydney Children’s Hospital.
It is part of the State-wide Neo-Natal service and admits babies from all parts of NSW.
The Unit has a Growth and Development clinic which sees babies born at less than 31 weeks or weighing less than 1500 grams for up to 1 year and babies born at less than 29 weeks and weighing less than 1000 grams for up to 5 years. Babies who were very sick are also followed up through this clinic.

Parking on the Randwick Hospital campus is very easy. There are more than 2000 car parking spots available for patients, visitors and staff. The carpark is located below the main Hospital Entrance and can be reached via Barker Street.

NurtureGroup
The Inner Sydney NurtureGroup is supported by health professionals from the Royal Hospital for Women & Sydney Children's Hospital and is held fortnightly in Randwick.
NurtureTime
Miracle Babies Foundation hold NurtureTime sessions for those parents and families with a baby currently being cared for by NBS at the Royal Hospital for Women, Randwick. This unique group time offers the chance to meet in a safe environment with other parents who have also experienced a baby's early arrival or difficult beginning. The group is run by a Miracle Babies Foundation parent support volunteer and no hospital staff are present. This is a place to share stories, make friends and ask questions in an understanding surrounding and all are welcome.
