Christmas in July Charity Poker Night

On Friday, 2 July 2010 at Cabra Vale Diggers APL held their 3rd Annual APL Charity Poker Night raising over $12,000 for Miracle Babies Foundation. Proud Miracle Babies Foundation Ambassador, Alf Paranihi made a special appearance on the evening.

Over 120 poker enthusiasts took their seat to be crowned the APL Miracle Babies Foundation Poker Champion. This title ended up with Trevor Goodwin and Runner Up was Renata Wilson.

First time guest Paul Clark of Hinchinbrook said "What a fantastic night. It was such a pleasure to be in the company of such wonderful, down to earth people. It was wonderful to be here to support such a great cause. I am so looking forward to next year."

A great night was had by all. APL and Miracle Babies Foundation are thankful to Dave Newham, Tracey Richardson, Cabra Vale Diggers, Frank Bono, Campisi Continental Butcherym, Twin Creeks Golf & Country Club, Diamond World Jewellers and all the poker players who attended the evening with such enthusiasm.
