4th Annual Charity Ball
The Miracle Babies 2009 Annual Ball exceeded everyone's expectations with this year raising over $150,000.00. 650 guests attended the Ball at the Liverpool Catholic Club which was packed to capacity. The night was such a huge success. Although being at capacity the night ran smoothly with the help of so many wonderful volunteers.
Guests were treated to a special performance by Doc Neeson of the legendary rock band 'The Angels'. The performance was another major highlight of the night with many guests dancing out the night and making the Ball a very memorable evening.
Miracle Babies Ambassador Vic Lorusso was MC and Auctioneer for the evening which was packed with a live and silent auction, raffles, lucky door prizes and fantastic entertainment by Sydney band "Stellar". "Bedside Manner" also entertained the guests with some of the Band being Doctors from Liverpool Hospital's NICU. NICU Staff all hit the dance floor to support the band. Fisher's Ghost Youth Orchestra also showed their talent with a great performance.

Event Partner, Adam Ayash of ADM Financial Planners together with AMP matched fundraising efforts up to $10,000.00. Adam Ayash said, "I'm delighted that with the support of AMP, we are helping to support Liverpool Hospital's outstanding neo-natal services by boosting fundraising efforts from Miracle Babes. It gives us great pleasure to give something back to such a worthy cause in the community where we live and work."
Diamond World Jewellers, Narellan donated a stunning Miracle Babies 9ct gold hand crafted pendant embedded with diamonds and 9ct diamond cut chain, valued at $4,200 for the raffle. The lucky winner of the jewellery said "It is beautiful, it is just so special."
Miracle Babies Platinum Partners, McDonald's Australia Ltd, Myer Liverpool, Krispy Kreme and APL Sydney South West attended the Ball with tables from Gold Partners, Woolworths Limited, Signwerx, Busy Bookkeeping Liverpool, Wicked Images and Silver Partners Air Tek, Rotary Club of Liverpool Greenway, All Solutions Locksmiths, Atlas Locksmiths and Multiweb.
Platinum Partner, Tracy Richardson of APL said "What an awesome night for the Miracle Babies charity, it is great to be able to support them and get a fun filled night at the same time."
Football legend Paul Sironen attended the Ball and was blown away "What an awesome night. This was so much more than I expected. Miracle Babies are a great organisation and Krispy Kreme is honoured to be helping such a worthwhile cause."
The night was a huge success with Miracle Babies raising over $150,000.00. Funds from the night will go towards purchasing new equipment and resources for the NICU and the ongoing work of Miracle Babies who distribute quarterly magazines, hold fortnightly playgroups, provide parent support, an online forum and raise community awareness.
The support of the local community is fantastic, this event just keeps getting bigger and better each year. A large number of staff from Liverpool Hospital's NICU attended the Ball together with Teresa Anderson and local MP Dr Andrew McDonald.
Miracle Babies are so appreciative of the support of the local community, local businesses who attended the night and all who donated prizes for the auctions and raffles.
