Healing Hampers Support Miracles
Jen Holdsworth is the amazingly proud mother of 4 children, though it is her youngest Josie that has inspired a wonderful new business venture aimed at supporting people through illness and surgery.
It was only 18 weeks into their fourth pregnancy, when the Holdsworth’s life was turned upside down. Sitting in a lonely ultrasound room they were informed their unborn daughter had many issues and was very likely to have Down Syndrome. It wasn’t till 18 months later that Doctors diagnosed Kabuki Syndrome, a rare genetic disorder that affects about one in 32,000 people.
In Josie’s short 10 years she has undergone 16 operations including her heart, hip and knee and through it all has helped her family, “our daughter has given us the eyes and ability to feel peoples pain, emotions, and joy, and the strength to share in all of those emotions without fear of negativity”.
During her many hospital visits Jen recognised the need for quality 100% Australian gifts, that would help people to feel good about themselves during illness or surgery, plus the need to help family members whilst dealing with the process of healing. Hospital Healing Hampers was born and her stunning range of hampers are sold through an online store and filled with glorious skin care, clothing, and other little pick me ups which are all lovingly packed with empathy and care.
“Our hampers contain quality products to help begin a journey towards positive strength and healing.”
Part of the proceeds from select hampers will be donated to Miracle Babies Foundation to provide support to families dealing with the birth of a premature or sick newborn.
