Miracle Babies Receive a "Random Act of Kindness"
What a fantastic surprise! Miracle Babies Founder and President Melinda Cruz, was recently surprised by Scott Cam and the crew from Channel 9's new television show "Random Acts of Kindness". Aired on Sunday 14 June at 6.30 pm to over 1.4 million viewers who witnessed the surprise and found out about the wonderful organisation that Melinda has created.
Melinda and some of the Miracle Babies team were whisked away in a stretch Hummer and taken into the Hilton at Sydney for a girls night away. Many of the ladies had not slept away from their children so leaving their families for a night was exciting although very strange. The Hilton treated the ladies to a Cocktail Class at Zeta Bar by Bar Solutions and dinner at "The Glass". Melinda's husband Chris and Scott Cam joined the ladies for dinner with more surprises. Chris presented Melinda with a stunning eternity ring from Cantouri's Jewellery.
Some of the gang took advantage of having the night off from baths, dinner, homework and bedtime and danced the night away getting back to The Hilton at 4.00 am. As you can imagine, this type of night out was something that wasn't going to happen again for a very long time, so every moment was treasured.
It was a great opportunity for the team to be able to spend quality time together and strengthen already solid friendships.
While we were all partying the night away, little did we know that the Random Acts of Kindness team were glitzing up our new offices. Located at 21Governor Macquarie Drive, Chipping Norton. Miracle Babies had recently rented office space when Random Acts of Kindness came along at just the right time. Spoiling us with new desks, a complete phone system, lap top computers, a boardroom, lounges and several special touches, the office is now fully functioning and a great place for us all to work and get together for meetings. "To have a central space is now vital, the growth of Miracle Babies has been amazing, this will allow us to continue to grow and be able to help more families." Melinda Cruz said. "I feel so spoilt, but I am so glad I was able to share this with the Miracle Babies team. What a great time we all had and I can't wait to do it again."
The Miracle Babies team is also growing with more volunteers coming on board to help families and share their knowledge and experiences.
