MIRACLE BABIES FOUNDATION NATIONAL AWARENESS MONTH – NOVEMBER 2010
Monday, 1 November will launch ‘Miracle Month’ to highlight the struggles faced by premature and sick newborns and their families – and to raise much needed funds to support them.
Every year in Australia around 42,000 babies require the help of a Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) or Special Care Nursery (SCN). Miracle Babies Foundation strives to raise community awareness and knowledge of this prevalent national issue and the ongoing challenges faced by these babies and their families.

A day to thank and acknowledge Australian NICU staff and the miracle families they help to create.
On this day, Miracle Babies Foundation along with past NICU families will be visiting and providing morning to NICU staff in participating Australian NICUs.

4 Nov – Launch of our New Website
With the support of the NSW Government – we are delighted to launch our new and improved website!
www.miraclebabies.org.au is Australia’s premiere online resource for families of babies challenged by prematurity or sickness and includes a wealth of information such as real birth stories, premature development and statistics, common medical conditions and procedures, going home and more. The website includes the first ever comprehensive online listing off all Australian NICUs and will include information and training tools for NICU professionals.
5 Nov – Miracle Music Concert – Tamworth
Country Music Concert at West’s Leagues Club Tamworth, NSW featuring country superstar Melinda Schneider plus Dale Duncan.
7 Nov – Annual Picnic
After a successful 2009 event the Miracle Babies Annual Picnic will again be held at Gledswood Homestead, Catherine Field.
26 Nov – Annual Golf Day
Held this year at Twin Creeks Golf and Country Club. Come play or join us for lunch. Gold Hole Sponsorships available!
29 Nov – Stall in Martin Place, Sydney
