NICU Survival Pack

NurtureProgram Resources

Admission to a Neonatal Intensive Care Unit or Special Care Nursery can be daunting, frightening and shocking. Our NICU Survival Pack, provided to families on admission in participating hospitals, equips parents with vital tools and resources as they try to navigate this strange and overwhelming high tech universe.

It also provides information about the availability of local community NurtureGroups after leaving the safety of the hospital’s care. Empowering families with knowledge, helping them feel validated, comfortable and proactive in their child’s care and providing them with much-needed support, guidance, confidence and strength is vital to their journey in the NICU or SCN.
