Felix is our miracle rainbow baby. He was born at 30 weeks back in October 2023 due to complications in my pregnancy. He weighed a mere 1.096kg and measured at 39cm at birth. Our experience in the NICU was a scary and tumultuous journey. Philip and I experienced the lowest of lows, which was then contrasted by the highest of highs whenever Felix smashed his goals. This included things like graduating from CPAP and eventually coming off any form of breathing apparatus at discharge. Whilst in the NICU, we received lots of support from nurses, doctors, social workers and those from the Miracle Babies foundation. This experience would’ve been alot tougher without them. That’s why we would like to give back to this wonderful foundation so that they can continue to support other families that are in our situation.
