Tara is a proud mum of 3 beautiful daughters. 2 here in her arms and her first daughter Emma in her heart.
Endometriosis, Adenomyosis and PCOS made fertility a journey for Tara to become a mother.
She was blessed with her first daughter in 2010 after bleeding throughout pregnancy, prolonged bed rest and a shortened cervix at 26 weeks baby Emma came into the world at 38 weeks. Whilst not a premature baby, Emma was very unwell at birth and required resuscitation and ventilation in the NICU. Heartbreakingly Emma was not able to survive. Tara now shares her miracle baby Emma's NICU journey with others to support policy, research and other NICU and bereaved families.
Tara is forever grateful to the team at the Centenary for Women and Children hospital NICU for the time she had with her baby.
