NurtureGroup Online

SUPPORT FOR REGIONAL & RURAL NSW FAMILIES

Miracle Babies Foundation is pleased to announce that with support from Newcastle Permanent Charitable Foundation we are launching a new NurtureGroup service online for rural families in the Northern Rivers region and Central West Area of NSW.

Miracle Babies Foundation NurtureGroup Online is a free support group for families who have recently experienced the birth of a premature or sick newborn in the last 12 months, and who may live in a rural or regional area and can't attend a face-to-face NurtureGroup. We welcome all NICU and SCN families.

NurtureGroup Online will initially be available in the Central West region and Northern Rivers region of NSW, with future NurtureGroups Online being planned for families in the Hunter New England area of NSW.

Parents and carers can exchange ideas on parenting, tackle medical issues, share stories, build support networks, form friendships and ease the isolation that can often be felt by families of premature and sick newborns.

Health professionals in maternal and child health fields attend NurtureGroup Online intermittently to provide information, assistance and expert advice of the children's development. Professionals may include Physiotherapy, Occupational Therapy, Speech Pathology, Dietetics, Social Work, Psychology, Nursing and more.

If you've experienced the birth of a premature or sick newborn in the last 12 months please fill in the form below to register for a NurtureGroup Online.
