NurtureProgram Resources
Nurture – guiding you through your hospital journey with a premature or sick newborn is an in-depth and comprehensive book touching on issues and concerns that affect families dealing with the birth of a premature or sick newborn.
The 128-page book has been developed with the help and guidance of health professionals and parents whose babies took an unfamiliar and unexpected journey, requiring specialist care in the first few days, weeks or months of their lives. It covers many aspects and concerns shared by parents to give readers a better understanding of neonatal care 'in a most complete and easily readable way'.
Nurture aims to empower families with knowledge, to help them feel comfortable and proactive in their child’s care and to provide them with the much needed support, guidance, confidence and strength for the journey ahead.
Nurture is available free of charge through Australian NICU's and SCN's at no cost to the hospital or receiving families. This special and informative guide book is included within our NICU Survival Pack resource. Ask your nurse for your NICU Survival Pack or contact us should your hospital not be a regular stockist of this resource.
