DISORDERS
Neurodevelopmental disorders are brain based, developmental conditions that affect the development of the nervous system, leading to abnormal brain function which may affect emotion, learning ability, self-control, and memory. These disorders most commonly begin in childhood and can be lifelong. These disorders can present with difficulties in communication, inattentiveness, learning ability, self-control, memory, trouble interacting with others, hyperactivity, repetitive behaviour, lack of eye contact, all of which evolves as an individual develops and grows. Some adults living with these disorders may require life long support and assistance to transition you into adulthood and into appropriate living and working conditions.
