Recognising 5 years of service from our dedicated and passionate team members

TUESDAY, JULY 13, 2021

People are the core of every organisation, and Miracle Babies Foundation is no different. Our team continuously brings dedication and passion to the shared mission and goals of our work.

Miracle Babies is honoured to celebrate several employee five-year work anniversaries this year. Megan Norbury, Kylie Caponas and Natalie Merida have all helped further our vision of 'Better, healthier outcomes for newborns and their families challenged by prematurity or sickness' over the five years they have been with us.

These accomplished staff members have been an essential part of our organisation's journey and success. We are eternally grateful for the commitment and enthusiasm they bring to their work.

Congratulations Megan, Kylie, and Natalie on your five years of service. We love having you here and you’re amazing at what you do. Miracle Babies and the families are very lucky to have you. We know you have worked incredibly hard for this accomplishment, and we truly appreciate your time with us,” said Miracle Babies CEO and Co-Founder, Kylie Pussell.

Our Head Office staff in Sydney were fortunate to be able to celebrate Kylie Caponas’ milestone earlier this year (pictured above).

Across the five years I have worked at Miracle Babies, I am honoured to have witnessed and be a part of the Foundation as it continues to expand its reach in supporting families of premature and sick newborns,” said Kylie Caponas.

Furthermore, we were able to surprise Megan Norbury at one of her regular NurtureGroup sessions, luckily before several states entered COVID-19 restrictions, to honour her five year work anniversary.

Megan wanted to share what a wonderful morning she had at the Rockingham NurtureGroup.

I was completely surprised when NG volunteers Sheiranne and Candice brought in gifts, flowers and chocolate cake to celebrate my 5 years of service with the Foundation. Candice said the most beautiful words, I was overwhelmed (and a bit teary). I cannot tell you how grateful I am to be acknowledged in this way. I continually experience your love, support, and friendship from afar. I am so grateful for what you all did for me today and appreciate it all, especially the lovely card, it was so unexpected.

About 6 years ago, when I decided it was time to return to the workforce, I wasn’t sure what I would do. After years working as an early childhood teacher, I knew that I wanted to be around children and their families. After having Angus and later Saxon, both born 12 weeks early, I knew that I never wanted anyone to feel as lonely, isolated and stressed as I had felt. Then I found Miracle Babies and knew that is who I wanted to be involved with. I absolutely love what I do and feel so honoured to be part of the foundation and I just hope you know how much I appreciate you all.

Thank you again, Kylie, Megan and Natalie (pictured below) for being such valuable members of our team.
