Our NurtureProgram offers:

Wrap-around family support through peer support services and resources in the unit:

• Peer support service in-hospital (NurtureTime) delivered weekly or fortnightly, cot-side (championing zero separation between parents and their baby) in the unit
• Dedicated Team Member per hospital (all parents with lived experience)
• Resources carefully developed in partnership with parents and health care professionals, designed to provide vital tools to empower and educate families at every stage of their journey - our resources are grounded in key emotional and education needs for the broader family unit at each stage.
• Continued support and play groups after-discharge (NurtureGroups) and information hub
• 24/7 Family Support Line - NurtureLine (1300 622 243)

*NurtureProgram services and resources are provided at no cost to hospitals

Enhancing the neonatal experience and parent-staff relationships:

• Parent-focused talks and education to neonatal staff
• In-services to staff
• Educating and empowering families to be involved in baby’s Neonatal care
• Celebration and awareness day campaigns with hospitals: Thank U NICU Day, World Prematurity Day
• Special Day Gifts I.e. Mother’s Day, Father’s Day, Christmas Day

Funding toward equipment and family supplies for hospitals:

• Kangaroo Care Chairs, Petrol Vouchers, Breast Pumps
• Special requests with a family focus
