Miracle Babies Foundation is very proud of its humble beginnings; in four years a group of NICU mothers from the Liverpool region in Sydney South West, NSW raised over $1 million for programs and services supporting premature and sick newborns and their families.

Funding Guidelines

Applications for funding are invited for projects with direct relevance to the care and support of premature and sick newborns and their families.  Due to funding constraints, preference is made for applications requesting breast pumps, kangaroo care chairs, breastfeeding chairs - and petrol vouchers for out of area families. Other small items of equipment that improve the neonatal journey for families may be considered.

The decision will be made by Miracle Babies Foundation’s senior management team or the Board, depending on the value of the request. If the Board is required to decide, it will be presented at the next applicable Board Meeting for consideration.

A submitted application does not guarantee approval.

The applicant will be notified in writing of the decision.

Please complete our Funding Application Form in full (Incomplete forms will not be accepted)

To assist in the review of your application, please provide a concise response to all questions.

Photographs, quotes, pamphlets etc. can be used to accompany applications where they are vital to the explanation of the equipment sought.

A new form must be completed for each new request.

Approved Grant Conditions

1. Miracle Babies Foundation will purchase the item/s directly from the supplier as nominated on the Funding Application Form and coordinate the delivery to the applicant.
   
   
2. Miracle Babies Foundation must be recognised as the donor and will require acknowledgement of the donation.
   
   
3. Successful hospitals will be required to submit feedback upon request or within 12 months of receiving support. This will require you to keep records of number of families who benefitted, obtain feedback from some families, and provide one or two photos of the equipment/vouchers being presented to families or in use. This feedback will be used to inform reports to our funders and for public relations and media purposes. Photos will require a media consent form to be completed by those within the photo.
