What began as a normal pregnancy quickly took a frightening turn when Sophie developed severe early-onset preeclampsia. At just 31 weeks, both her life and Theo’s were at risk. Rushed to hospital in the middle of the night, doctors worked urgently to stabilise her before Theo was born via emergency c-section - tiny, fragile, but fighting.

Theo spent six weeks in NICU, facing serious complications including a life-threatening infection and feeding challenges. For his parents, it was an overwhelming time filled with fear and uncertainty.
