This year was truly special for Miracle Babies as we celebrated two decades of supporting families with premature or sick newborns. To everyone who has been part of our journey whether donating, fundraising, working with us, being a family we’ve supported, or simply championing our work we are deeply grateful. Thank you for being part of the Miracle Babies story. We look forward to many more years of supporting neonatal families together.
What started as a way to support other families going through the Neonatal journey by a group of local mums, has since become Australia’s leading organisation helping to improve, support and enhance all lives impacted by a premature or sick birth.
To celebrate 20 years of Miracle Babies we held a few special events to celebrate a huge milestone of supporting premature and sick newborns and their families. Keep reading to find out what happened through this special year.

♦The 'No Footprint Too Small' exhibition - Liverpool Council
The 'No Footprint Too Small' exhibition is featured in the Preview Gallery at the Liverpool City Library, located within the Liverpool City Council Australia building. It celebrates Miracle Babies and marks 20 years of partnership with Liverpool Hospital, our founding partner for the NurtureProgram. The exhibition also highlights family stories and showcases the support available to families today.
"Miracle Babies began right here in our city; born from love, courage and community spirit, and it continues to carry Liverpool’s heart and humanity into hospitals and homes around the country. This exhibition celebrates every tiny footprint that has shaped a family’s story and the nurses, doctors, and volunteers who walk beside them. It’s also a tribute to Liverpool Hospital’s incredible staff who give every child the best possible start." Liverpool Mayor, Ned Mannoun said.
The exhibition will be on display until 8 February 2026, and we invite our community to take a closer look at our special journey. Located at Liverpool City Library (Yellamundie), Preview Gallery, Level B2.
