My journey with the special care baby unit in the UK started when my eldest was born small and had jaundice, being a young first time mum this was a very daunting experience but the nurses on the unit were so friendly and confident that they inspired me to look towards working in that environment in the future... 18 years later here I am in a new country providing support to families on their own Nicu journey.
