Bonding

NURTURE INFORMATION HUB

The Toddler years are full of learning, growing and exploring. Your child is becoming more independent and learning new skills every day. Even as they become more confident, they still need love, comfort and support from the people who care for them. Bonding is the special connection that helps your child feel safe, happy and loved.

Simple things like playing, reading, cuddling, talking, singing and sharing everyday moments can help your child feel connected to you. These special moments also help your toddler learn, build confidence, and understand their feelings.

You do not need to be a perfect parent to build a strong bond. Small, loving moments every day help your child know they are safe, cared for, and important. This strong connection gives them the confidence to learn, play, and explore the world around them.
