For families, the experience of having a baby come into the world not as expected or planned is life changing.

Without support, this overwhelming and traumatic experience can have lifelong effects on the emotional wellbeing of these miracle families.

Peer Support for Families

Miracle Babies provides community, connection and education.

From peer support provided cotside and continued after-discharge, to a 24/7 family support line, along with specialised support and play groups after discharge, we guide and empower the entire family unit to navigate life with a sick and vulnerable newborn and beyond. We champion the parent voice inside the neonatal unit, help parents confidently advocate for their child as they grow and learn from others with a shared experience.

Our work is proven to influence better long-term outcomes for more thriving children.

  • NurtureLine – 24/7 family support helpline
  • NurtureTime – in-hospital peer to peer support
  • NurtureGroup – support and play groups after discharge

We are committed to supporting families through their Neonatal journey, the transition home and beyond.
