Support Miracle Families this Christmas

THURSDAY 8 DECEMBER 2022

On Christmas Day, 132 babies will be born premature or critically ill and they will spend the next few weeks, months or even year in hospital. Each year, sadly up to 1,000 babies will lose their fight for life.

If you would like to help a miracle family at Christmas this year, here's how you can make a difference. Thousands of families will sadly spend Christmas day with their newborn in hospital, under specialised care. These families deserve some Christmas cheer, but we need your help.

Each year, Miracle Babies Foundation delivers Christmas gifts to these families in hospital. Approximately 1,500 Christmas gifts will be delivered to hospitals across Australia.

Your donation of $10 will help to provide one special gift to a vulnerable family this Christmas. $143 will also provide full, emotional support to one family throughout their entire hospital journey.

Miracle Mum Tahlia shares the story of baby Rylan born at 29 weeks:

"Rylan was born via emergency ceasarian at 29 weeks, he weighed 1470grams and measured 36.6 cm in length. Although we all have our ups and downs, he is doing amazing. We can’t wait for the day we get told we can take him home!"

Like many families, Rylan's family is hoping to be able to spend Christmas Day together. Sadly, many babies will spend their first Christmas in the NICU. Your support can help make a difference to families just like Rylan's.
