WaterWipes™ – committed to providing special support for such a delicate journey

Miracle Babies Foundation is proud to announce that WaterWipes™ continues as a Corporate Partner of Miracle Babies Foundation, entering 9 years of supporting the Foundation.

“WaterWipes™ was brought to life when Edward McCloskey’s newborn developed a nappy rash and he couldn’t find a wipe gentle enough for her sensitive skin. After years of research and testing, he developed a wipe with newborn skin in mind — soft, gentle, and designed to provide comfort and care for even the most delicate skin. Born from a father’s love, WaterWipes™ is now a household name, trusted by families around the world.”

Over this time, the support from WaterWipes™ has evolved, with increasing funding over the years contributing to the Foundation’s continued growth over time. Thank you, WaterWipes™, for your wonderful support, we are incredibly proud to partner with you and appreciate all that you do for families of Australia’s smallest and sickest newborns.

WaterWipes™ is a valued, ongoing partner and this year will work with Miracle Babies Foundation on initiatives including;

- National Miracle Babies Foundation Kangaroo-a-thon (11th year), which aims to further highlight the benefits and encourage all neonatal units to actively promote Kangaroo Care, logging as many hours of kangaroo holding (including modified holding) in a two-week period inside neonatal units. The initiative also educates and supports parents in facilitating Kangaroo Care within their baby in care. This year, two Kangaroo Care chairs will be generously supported by WaterWipes, to two winning neonatal units.

- This year, World Prematurity Day will move to November 15. Together, Miracle Babies and WaterWipes™ will highlight the hidden journey and challenges faced, whilst coming together to increase further support and also celebrate the miracles born premature within our community.

- As our NurtureProgram continues to expand, WaterWipes™ also provide general funding toward services including in-hospital peer support and after discharge play support groups, the national 24-hour family support line and family resources for every step of a family’s journey in hospital. In 2025, Miracle Babies Foundation was able to deliver 35,000+ support interactions with new services starting in new hospitals, also increasing hours inside some of Australia’s biggest neonatal units.
