QV Baby joins as Corporate Partner, for much-needed support in hospital and beyond

Miracle Babies Foundation is proud to announce its newest Corporate Partner, QV Baby.

The QV Baby skincare range combines moisturising ingredients with gentle cleansing formulas, specifically developed for baby’s sensitive skin needs without soap, fragrance or other common irritants.

QV Baby is recommended by paediatricians, with products enriched with skin supporting ingredients like Niacinamide, Vitamin E, and Glycerin. The pH balanced, Australian made formulations are free from soap, fragrance, and colour, making them gentle enough for daily use with your bub’s sensitive skin.

QV Baby is committed to supporting Miracle Babies Foundation on their mission to assist the special needs of babies born premature or sick and understand the truly difficult challenges that this can bring related to health, development, along with parent and child wellbeing.

“Their commitment to being there for parents and ensuring the best possible care is available through their journey is heartwarming and Miracle Babies Foundation is proud to partner together.” – Kylie Pussell, CEO, Miracle Babies Foundation

As part of the partnership with Miracle Babies, QV Baby will help to provide much needed support to families inside the neonatal unit via resources when their baby is admitted and also on being discharged home.

Nothing can prepare you for the moment your baby is taken to the NICU. Days blur into one, you spent hours watching your baby through a perspex box, just trying to comprehend and understand what the future might hold. Having somebody you can talk to, people around you that understand and access to information just for parent, to help guide you through, makes a world of difference.

“It’s a lonely place in there”, Elle, Mum to Harry

The partnership will provide funding toward these important resources, along with providing families with QV Baby products to try for their baby’s sensitive skin.

The Miracle Babies after discharge support, including specialised play and support groups (NurtureGroups), will also form a special part of the partnership.

For families after leaving the Hospital, it can be daunting and overwhelming and as we know, the journey can be lifelong.

QV Baby will contribute to ongoing after-discharge support through NurtureGroups so that more families can continue to access support for the ongoing challenges that prematurity and sickness at birth may bring.

Parents can meet others who have been through a similar experience, make lifelong friends and gain ongoing support from Miracle Babies Peer Support Workers. While babies who have spent time in the neonatal intensive care unit can grow and develop in their own time, socialise and celebrate milestones together, surrounded by other children who may face a similar journey.

These groups are an important support service, much needed for families who feel like they have nowhere to turn, because this journey can be like no other, it helps to find a place that is there just for you, your child and will continue to be there for years to come.

QV Baby also joined as sponsor for the Miracle Moon Walk in Sydney on 6 September, allowing families to dedicate their support to their own miracle or a loved one close to them. This special Dedication Wall is a symbol of unity, compassion and unwavering support for the journey these babies and their families face. Fundraising remains open and the Perth event will take place on 20 September: www.miraclemoonwalk.com.au

Thank you QV Baby, your support is truly appreciated.
