Six years ago, I became a Miracle Mum when my daughter Penelope spent her first days of life in Special Care. I remember how overwhelming, confusing and isolating that experience felt, and how much I wished I had someone beside me who truly understood.

Today, that experience has come full circle. I now have the privilege of working with Miracle Babies Foundation as a NurtureProgram Support Worker in Townsville, providing peer support to families navigating their own NICU and Special Care journeys,

This year, I’m taking part in the Miracle Moon Walk not only for my own little miracle, but for every baby and family who has experienced the uncertainty of having a premature or critically ill newborn.

Every donation helps Miracle Babies continue providing free support, resources and connection to families when they need it most.

I’ll be walking for Penelope, for the families I support, and for every little miracle.
