Connor McGoverne

Ambassador

Connor is a Political Reporter with 9News in Perth, WA. He also helps run a small family farm in Western Australia.

He is a husband to Jamie, and a father to his two kids, Maggie and Finley. His son Finley was born unwell and required surgery due to his birth defect, gastroschisis. He has said that it was hard seeing his son wheeled off to surgery in a plastic bag, stopping the infection; however, the first hold with him one month later was so special to both him and his wife.

Connor joined Miracle Babies Foundation as an Ambassador in 2025. He is ready to show his support and will be attending Miracle Moon Walk in Perth in September.

“Organisations like Miracle Babies Foundation are so important for acknowledging the fight parents, newborns and their families have to go through. They’re a comfort, a voice for advocacy and change, and a resource for those who need it most. We’re so lucky, but not everyone is, and it’s these people the Foundation helps most.

I am honoured to be considered someone who can help the Foundation provide the support it does.”
