Amelia Stannard

Amelia is mum to two boys, the eldest Finn who spent 3 days in SCN and Miracle baby Charlie spending 40 days in NICU born at 36 weeks where he battled respiratory distress. 

After multiple concerns, lots of advocating and second opinions, Charlie was diagnosed with a rare connective tissue disorder called Ehlers Danlos Syndrome.

We have navigated over multiple hospitals trips, specialists’ appointments, surgeries, intensive physio and the accessing therapy though the NDIS. 

Amelia works as a registered nurse in the community aged care and disability sector.
