Volunteering

Thank you for your interest in volunteering with Miracle Babies Foundation!

Miracle Babies Foundation is committed to recognising, supporting and enhancing the involvement and contribution of volunteers in delivering the programs and services of our organisation. We are delighted you are considering joining our wonderful Miracle Babies team to help support premature and sick newborns, their families and the hospitals that care for them.

As part of the Miracle Babies NurtureProgram Volunteer recruitment process, including NurtureLine, NurtureTime and NurtureGroup, we ask that you have experienced having a child in NICU or SCN to better assist our families through your own experiences.

If you have not experienced a child in NICU or SCN, there are many other ways in which you can give back and we welcome your help! We have several nationwide events and fundraisers throughout the year, as well as administrative and resource packing opportunities at our Head Office in Smeaton Grange, NSW. Please keep an eye on our website and Seek Volunteer to stay in the loop for any upcoming opportunities.

Miracle Babies have a variety of opportunities to suit. We look for passionate, skilled and committed people and match them to specific volunteering opportunities.

Before applying for any positions, please ensure that you have read what the role involves, that you are available for the scheduled roster and you meet the selection criteria.

Please note:

  • Volunteers applying for NurtureTime and NurtureGroup must meet the criteria of having a baby cared for in NICU/SCN.
  • For some positions, volunteers may also be requested to complete a Working with Children Check and National Criminal Record Check relevant to your state or territory.

When we have volunteer opportunities available, you'll see them listed at the bottom of this page. If there aren't any roles available right now, you can still fill out an Expression of Interest form and we'll get in touch if a suitable opportunity comes up.

To fill out an expression of interest in Volunteering for Miracle Babies, please confirm whether or not you are a NICU or SCN parent by clicking one of the following buttons:
