There is an underlying understanding that the care our families receive today is available as a result of others before them taking part in research, and that those who participate in research contribute to improvements in standards of care and longterm quality of life.
Research happens in NICUs across Australia and around the world and it is important that as families, you are informed and have access to current research projects that you and your baby may be able to participate in.
As Australia’s largest neonatal consumer organisation, Miracle Babies is able to provide health professionals and researchers access to a very large community of families who have experienced the birth of a premature or sick baby. Many of these families are very willing to participate and share their experiences, information and points of view to help the joint mission of advancing health.
